Alyssa Paige 10 Months

 

The start of a new month....

Today is the first day of September, in which I was reminded as soon as Taylor got out of bed that her birthday is this month!!!! Starting today I am trying a new approach with my kids. I am going to try not to yell as much and I am going to have more patients and I am going to take out more time for them and not say "wait a minute" so much. Well within reason of course!!

I am going to try not to yell at Michael when he looks right at me and says "NO" right after I told him to do something. I think yelling just pushed him further. I am gonna try not to get so annoyed when Taylor tell's me about every little show or movie she watches. I must admit I find this a very annoying trait of Taylor's. She tell me about TV shows and Movies and most of them I have seen so I already know...But I am gonna just listen, maybe she's trying to really tell me something and I'm not hearing the point of why she's telling me. And my sweet baby Alyssa...If she could just sleep all night. From 8-8 would be great!!! Oh well, I am used to it now, she wakes up every 2 or 3 hours and I let her cry herself back to sleep ( I know poor Taylor ) then finally at like 4:30am she will NOT go back to sleep and well then were up!! For this I am going to try to go to bed earlier. That's hard because I like being the last one up at night. I can get on the computer or watch TV and no one is screaming MOMMY...And as far as Mike goes well I will just ignore him and his comments and not let it bother me!!

Not to mention I am on this new diet, thanks Moriah for sharing your secret with me. And I am gooing to make this work. I have been trying so hard. I haven't weighed my self since I started so hopefully when I decide to step on the scale it will read alot less than it does now. I have to tell you I did step on it one day and it said 80 pounds...Well we all know my scale is broken so the thing is I probably would if it wasn't broken...HAHA...

So here's to making September a good month!!

Corbin

This is my nephew Corbin. Although I have only met him a few times I love him so much. Look how cute he is. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is 7 months younger that Michael so I can only imagine how much fun it would be if we lived closer togather. Thanks Jamie and Jessica for sharing this picture with me. Hope to see you all soon. 

Well I am going to day to meet Marchelle and Tyler for their last ultrasound. Not just any ultrasound but a 4D ultrasound!! I am so excited to be invited and able to attend this special occasion. I can't wait maybe I'll even get to bring my own picture home this time. That would be just great!! Taylor is going to go to a friend's house after school and Michael and Alyssa are going to Nicole's house. Thanks Nicole for watching the kids again for me!!

Mason and Sawyer got to come over today and play for a while with Michael and Daniel and they all had a BLAST!! They were all so good to eachother, there was sharing and please's and thank you's!! We had chocolate milk and graham crackers, popsicles and bologna!! Hey I let them eat what they wanted...They played in the water in the driveways and raced the hummers...They played in Michael's room and even let Alyssa play with them. They are all so good to her. Michael calls her sissy and now so does Daniel. You should hear him..."Sissy can I have that toy?!?!" I almost said she's not your sissy, but I didn't the more big brother's she has the better, RIGHT? That's what mason asked me "I'm her big brother right Mrs. Corine?" I said as long as you'll have her as your little sister and help take care of her she's your's...ya know what he said, "I'll take care of her forever!!!!" Are we blessed or what?

BUSY...BUSY...BUSY...

I know how annoying it is to get on to someone's blog and not see a new post in a long time, I tell mom all the time update your blog. Well this time she called me on it. So sorry it's been 20 days, around here it seems like just one day. Taylor keeps me busy running to pick up friends or dropping her off at one, and cheerleading twice a week. Michael keeps me running too, well just after him because he has so much energy and Alyssa...well she keeps me up all night...kinda not everynight and the nights she does sleep she's up at 5:30am!!!! I do have a little time in between my 3 kids and babysitting everyone else's but I use that to either play with the kids or do laundry or dishes, or I'm picking up toys!!! It's alot I know but it's my life and I love it!!!!!! I eat sleep and dream kids!!! Speaking of which, my sister is coming along with her pregnancy. She is now 28 weeks and I should tell you she looks GREAT!!!! I told her that I hope she gains alot of weight and gets really fat, and I meant it...I also knew that wouldn't happen!!! Mike's sister is doing good. She is 30 weeks now and although I haven't seen her I'm sure she looks great too. I am going to NY the night of Sept. 13th!!!!!! I am so excited, we will be leaving on Sept. 18th and while were there we will be attending Jennifer and Marchelle's baby showers. Megan if you read this call me I would like to set up some time maybe Friday the15th to see you and the girls!!!! Well off to put on some pics. Till then...

So much going on!

Okay, well I have been trying to upday my blog for a week now or more, who knows I have lost track. It's been so busy around here. First Aly got the tubes put in her ears, which have been a miracle. Who knew this kid could actually sleep. She was 8 1/2 months old and still not sleeping through the night. Once those tubes were put in ...what a change. She now sleeps a hour in a half nap in the morning and 3 hour nap in the afternoon. She is also going to bed at 8pm and waking up at 5am to eat and then back down till 8am. THANK GOD!!!!!!

Taylor's wrist has healed...and thank god for that too...I hate to say it but she was driving me nuts complaining about wearing her splint and sling. Cheerleading has started for her and she has 2 hour practices twice per week. Not to mention the heat index has been 106!! She's doing good. This year is more challenging for her, she will actually have compititions. Has to follow the rules and dress code, they will even be lifting girls and doing stunts. I think she will enjoy it. She is so excited.

We are trying to sell the house and what a nightmere!!! We put the sign up and within 5 days we have an offer. Now with no where to go, I am not sleeping again with all this stress. We have a couple things in mind, but waiting for it to all come togather is hard, not to mention the lady that wants to buy the house wants us out before school even starts which is on 8/25...
I think were going to live with bob and collie!! No just kidding. Mike says they keep joking with him about letting us stay. Mike says that if they keep up about it he's gonna ask then if we need to. Who knows...

Last night we were looking at a house in a neighborhood that we really like and while we were there Jimmy, Moriah and the boys showed up, we walked through the house and showed them the one we like because it's still being built...On the way home Mike and I were talking and that's when it clicked...Michael said " what did you say mommy?" I didn't know what he was talking about, he said " were what daddy?" I said oh you mean moving? He said yeah, what's that mean. I said we are trying to buy that house we just walked through, that means we will move out all our stuff from the house were in and bring it here. Then it happened...he started crying. What's wrong bubby I asked...He said but if we move I'll never see Mason and Coop again!!!!!! Mike and I looked at eachother and Mike said well maybe we won't move, we just don't know yet. It's like we just tore his little heart out. I FELT TERRIBLE!!!!!! Then we explained how we would still see them and we would still be good friends. He just didn't understand!

Well Alyssa is crying to eat, so better go feed her breakfast. Till next time.....
