Random thoughts~~~

Well I am pleased to say that Alyssa is doing great on the potty. It has now been a week since we started and she has only had 2 poopie diapers since the 16th!! The rest have been on the potty. She doesn't talk that much yet, so your probably all wondering how she tells me. She simply comes to get me, and when she gets my attention she starts to walk toward the bathroom, the she bangs on the door!! Brilliant ( as Moriah says) isn't she?!?!! I'm sure we will lapse but I am enjoying this for now!!

It has been such a busy week, well not really but I feel like it has. I have been doing good with my New Year's resolution!! The kids and I joined the Y and we go like 3 or 4 times a week. We all love it so much!! While I work out I take the kids to child watch and they love it. We usually only go for an hour but we get there so late that Alyssa usually falls asleep on the way home. I have Moriah right by my side cheering me on. That helps. I have been eating much better. My dad sent me this portion sheet that tells the portion of things you should eat. I have been going by this as much as possible. I have been also drinking lots of water. I feel so much better. It's only been like a month since I've started and I'm sure I haven't lost any yet...But I already feel better. The kids love to go and play with the other kids and also with the young teacher's!! Taylor is the age where she loves gossip...go figure! And she tells me what these young teachers talk about and their lives. It's comical! They love to go to the pool. This I use to my advantage. If their good we swim, if their not then we don't!! It all works out.

Well it is that time of day...Taylor will be coming home in a minute and I have to go rescue her from the bus!! Till next time........................

I HAVE BIG BIG NEWS!!!

Okay, first I would like to say Happy Anniversary to my husband...Friday the 16th was our 6 year anniversary!! Then I would also just LOVE to tell you all that my little baby girl is going peepee on the potty!!! Yes, she is... and Poopoo!!! Can you stand it!!

This is the story...Taylor started potty training at 15 months...so I decided that Alyssa would too. So here and there we have been sitting on the potty...Not the big toilet the kiddie one that sits on the floor. We can make it to the bathroom but usually she pee's on the floor...No problem at least it's in the bathroom! Well Yesterday I was changing her diaper and I decided to take her to the bathroom to sit on the little potty. She didn't want anything to do with it, so I put her on the big potty where mommy sits and POOF~~~~She instantly goes pee!! Then seconds later she poo's!! Yeah Alyssa gets the potty song, and a sucker and out we go. Oh and that was after she decided to taste the toilet paper and gagged on it and threw up. ( she hasn't tried to eat the toilet paper since!) She told me 4 more times last night she had to potty, she only went 2 of those times but I'll take it. She has also told me 3 times today and went all 3 times!!! What a big girl!! I hope we can keep up the good work!! Oh, and her big brother did not believe she had actually gone, so he sat on the floor until she got up and made sure. He told her that he was so proud of her. Hopefully now that his "baby" sister is going in the potty that he will not have any more accidents!! Till next time......................................

Valentine's Day

I would just like to wish all my friends and family a Happy Valentine's Day. It has been a busy day in the Ryan house today. Lot's of School parties, we made cut out cookies from scratch today and had a blast decorating them. Hope you had just as much fun!! HAPPY V DAY!!

Okay, not a good picture I know...however do you see the egg on her forehead? Poor kid! This is just 1 minute after being hit in the face with a water bottle!! She only cried for a second. What a trooper!! Black and blue eyes...hopefully not. I ran her over to see Moriah and she said if I would have told her that she had an egg on her head she wouldn't have thought it to be that big!! Well that's what older siblings are for...
